Search Before You Submit
Before you can submit any hotel review to Baiduhotel, you need to SEARCH for the hotel you stayed at. That's the fun part.
You can usually find the hotel by typing in the city under "Enter a Destination" on the homepage and scrolling down the list of hotels in the search results. You can view results by Hotel Name, Stars or Location.
Or, if you know the exact name of the hotel, click on "Search by hotel name" on the homepage and enter it in the field box.
Once you have found the hotel you stayed at, click on its name. You will then be sent to the hotel's review page. Click on "Post a Review" to begin the submission process.
Getting Your Reviews Comped by Others
Only a registered user can vote on ("Comp") your reviews. Your Comp count goes up one vote for each user that clicks "Comp it." Each user can only Comp your review once.
You can write and submit your hotel review anytime within the six months following the completion of your hotel stay. Your submission will immediately appear in "Latest Reviews," where other users can find it. If your review is concise, descriptive, helpful and interesting enough, they will "Comp it."
Once it reaches a critical mass of Comps, it becomes "popular" and jumps to the Baiduhotel.com homepage. You can always check the homepage to see what's newly popular.
Comping Reviews Submitted by Others
You need to be a registered user to "Comp" another member's review. As a user, you can only make one Comp for each review you like.
Visit the "Latest Reviews" section to discover recently added reviews. Only people who have actually stayed in the hotels as guests are permitted to leave a review for that hotel. This is required to ensure that all reviews are genuine.
Comp it. Participate in the democratic ranking process by Comping the reviews that you like best.
Flag it. If you find reviews with bad grammer, off-topic or objectionable content, or duplicate entries, click "Flag it." Flagging content helps keep the site full of only useful content. That is also how we get spam out of the system.
It's when users actively participate on a large scale that the democratic ranking process works best, so make sure to do your part by Comping reviews and Flagging content when appropriate.
Email it. Send your friends (users and non-users) the reviews that you Comped.

- Provide anecdotes of your experience at the hotel that are uniquely yours, yet shed light on the quality of the hotel. For example - if you had a good experience with the concierge, most likely others would too.
- Look professional with good grammar and proper spelling.
- Have a title that grabs the reader's attention and summarizes your feelings about your stay.
- Are an honest and personal reflection of your stay.
- Cover everything you would want to know before you stay at your next hotel.
